So we now when the Year Of Luigi will conclude now.
Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed the Year of Luigi will officially conclude in mid-March. Our love for the green plumber and his exclamation of glee in Super Mario 3D World, his clumsiness in Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros, or a shiver and a ‘oh no’ in Luigi’s Mansion 2, will be some of the most memorable moments from this year. So it’s with a heavy heart that we must part with Luigi as his 30th Anniversary ends, and give the glory back to Mario.
NOOOOO, NOOOOO, NOOOOO, NO MORE MARIO.
The Year of Luigi Miiverse community and developers’ room will sadly close on March 18, so there’s still time to share your messages on the moustachioed man. But if you want to leave a special message for Luigi, you can respond to Miyamoto’s post straight on Miiverse – make it count though, as it’s limited to one post per person. Have you got any memorable moments from the Year of Luigi? Let us know your favourites in the comments below.
“Almost a year has passed since I announced the Year of Luigi, marking the 30th anniversary of Luigi’s debut. Thanks to everyone’s kind support, we were able to release many Luigi games over the course of the year. I hope everyone continues to cheer for the green brother!
“However, all good things must come to an end, and the Year of Luigi will conclude on March 18. From this date on, the Year of Luigi Community and its Developers’ Room will sadly no longer accept new posts or comments. (The exact date and time is listed in each community’s description.) That means there’s one more month to go. I hope everyone continues to share their thoughts on Luigi with people from around the world!”
