Chairzard And Greninja Join Smash Bros As Playable Characters!

Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed that Charizard and Greninja are now in the Super Smash Bros roster for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Charizard and Greninja join Sheik, Yoshi, and Zero Suit Samus. Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS launches this summer while the Wii U version of the game will be coming this winter.

I don’t think anybody saw Greninja coming lol. I am pleasantly surprised and I think he will be one of my main guys!

Super Smash Bros Will Let You Do Custom Move Sets – But NOT On Online With Randoms

In today’s Super Smash Bros. Direct, a couple of new features have been added, with one of these namely the custom move set. However, the move sets are only able to be used in online multiplayer with friends, local co-op mode or single-player mode. We’ll be hearing more about these in the future, so no doubt we’ll see a few in those daily Miiverse posts from the game’s director, Masahiro Sakurai.

That’s right you can customize your move sets when playing offline against AI, or Local Multiplayer against friends or online against friends, but NOT when playing online against RANDOM PEOPLE.

Super Smash Bros 3DS Exclusive Mode Called Smash Run [Replacing Story Mode?]

The Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Bros will feature an exclusive mode called Smash Run: a 4-player battle game set in a dungeon-like stage full of power-ups to collect. You can explore the stage & collect power-ups for 5 minutes, then slug it out with your enhanced fighters.

I think this is the 3DS’s version of a co-op story mode….not much story, but it looks fun. Guess the Wii U version will have an exclusive mode of its own, its “Story” mode. I hope the classic mode is still there where you fight 10 guys then Master Hand lol.

Yoshi Is Back In Smash Bros, [No Surprise lol]

Yoshi has made a return to Super Smash Bros, plus he’s had a few mechanical changes to boot. With his latest adventure on the 3DS in Yoshi’s New Island and his past appearances in games, it was quite clear he would make the character roster this time around. He joins Sheik and Zero Suit Samus from today’s Direct. Sakurai has also made him stand up straight now.

Zero Suit Samus And Shiek Are Back But As Their Own Characters

Sakurai has revealed that veteran fighter Zero Suit Samus is joining the Smash Bros crew for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. He also revealed that Sheik will also be a playable character in the game. Super Smash Bros launches on Nintendo 3DS this summer and Wii U in the winter.

The Master Ball Item Gives Rare And Legendary Pokemon Like Arceus

Today’s Smash Bros Direct has revealed the new Master Ball item will allow players to summon various Pokemon onto the field. So it stands to reason that the Master Ball will only allow you to summon rare and legendary Pokemon, with Arceus highlighted in the Direct.

Two Online Modes “For Fun” And “For Glory”

Sakurai has revealed that playing Smash Bros 3DS and Wii U online with random opponents grants you two modes: ‘For Fun’ and ‘For Glory’ and when you’re playing Smash Bros online with friends, you can set the rules to whatever you want.

There will also be a CODE OF CONDUCT for online….this is risky…

Smash Bros 3DS Coming Summer 2014 [Told You So] Wii U Version Winter 2014

Sakurai revealed during today’s Smash Bros Nintendo Direct that the game will be launching on the Nintendo 3DS this summer, while the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros will be released in the winter. The Nintendo 3DS version will run at 60 frames per second in stereoscopic 3D.

Now they say Summer, that is June, July or August. So obviously it wont be June, so my bet is July.
